Noble hotel in a huge park. Award winning and first class restaurant

We had booked the Shakespeare Suite, which is highly recommended. We liked the ambience in the restaurant and the kitchen service is very good. Very good service at the reception!!

My room was well-equipped with a private bathroom. The staff were genuinely helpful people who was very helpful in explaining, and the location was excellent! And it was also not far from the main restaurant and all the communal areas and the stunning gardens.

The staff were pleasant and courteous and the wake up service and ironing were free of charge. The vibe here was unique.

The breakfast was very good, large selection, very courteous staff.

The room I stayed in was gorgeous and absolutely fantastic with 2 floors fabulous. Booked the hotel for its stunning and marvellous location next to a huge beautiful Gothic manor house, the main restaurant in the evening in an oak pannelled room, very intimate and public areas.

food extraordinary good! historical building

Although we only had a standard room, it was very comfortable and we were very lucky in so much as the room was in the old part of the building overlooking the beautiful park. All mod cons you can require, nice gesture with fresh fruit and some nice chocolates to enjoy with your tea in the room. Looked to have a very nice pool and spa but sadly didn't have enough time to enjoy that one ! Definitely to be recommended.

Maybe here and there there are little things such as frayed carpets and wall's that could do with a lick of paint, but overall still a wonderful place with lots of history to be had.

The fine Victorian gardens and the charming architecture. The serene atmosphere and warm decor create a perfect sanctuary, while the helpful staff ensured everything was accessible and comfortable for all guests.

Fabulous hotel with excellent staff and amenities. Our visit was to see 'Hill House' - the hotel was used as the outside location for the film The Haunting in 1963. It did not disappoint in any way. It is a little on the costly side but good things cost money, so I would recommend the hotel for anyone looking for a special treat like an anniversary etc. The nearby gastro pub in Alderminster, The Bell, is well worth a visit and an evening meal.

The staff are just amazin! Super friendly and always ready to help out. The food was delish for both dinner and breakfast, we really enjoyed it. The pool area was neat and can be relaxing after a long day. Our room was comfy and had everything we needed. The view was great!

The carpet in our room could use a good clean and the taps were a bit faulty. It was like we were treated second to the wedding guests which was a lil annoying.

We found our room to be a little cold and also the shower temperature wasnt quite hot enough either. The 'double' bed was 2 singles pushed together which we found to be really uncomfortable!

The hotel is set in beautiful grounds, great for an afternoon stroll to walk off a cream tea.

The staff don't live up to the image of the hotel, from check in staff to waiters.
